March 3, Bristol

Conferred with principal about the potential of a student attending summer school.

Filled out references for two current employees seeking teaching positions.

Greeted students as they arrived.

Made my way around the K, 1st and 2nd grade classrooms. A teacher said to me, "It's so good that you are in the classroom every day." It's an easy concept - to get into every classroom every day - but it's often very hard to pull off. What matters is that both teachers and students appreciate it. It's meaningful.

Attended the 4th grade Grade Level Meeting (GLM).

Visited the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classrooms.

Spent time, a majority of my afternoon, with a struggling student.

Attended Missed the 1st grade GLM spending time with struggling student.

Attended the K GLM.

Tornado drill!! Run for your lives...better yet, stay calm and listen to the teacher...which our students did!

Continued to work on a superintendent shadowing experience with Rockwood's, Dr. Eric Knost.

Dismissal duties.
