March 24, Bristol

It's a rainy day. Feeling wiped but need to be up for the students. They need our best!

E-mailed with a teacher who is brainstorming ways to clearly communicate with parents.

Greeted students as they arrived.

Brainstormed with a teacher about professional next steps.

Visited K-3 classrooms. Witnessed the second graders playing "Guess My Shape" as they worked to become more and more familiar with geometric definitions. (4th graders are at Jeff City exploring our state's capital.)

Made sure building was secure by checking all doors.

Visited 5th grade classrooms.

Spent time with a student who needed some redirection.

Helped another student get to class.

Looked at data from other districts and compared to WG. Interesting to see the difference across the state.

Took part in the K placement meeting. This is where the K teachers come together and put their students into 1st grade classrooms for the next year. These meetings here at Bristol will take place over the next two weeks at all grade levels.

Dismissal duties.
